Cleared of murder at Anahita, he now wants Rs 1.3 billion from the state
Lee-Ann Palmarozza, 35, was found dead in a pool at Anahita over the 2014 festive season. Her partner, South African businessman Peter Wayne Roberts, spent 15 months in pre-trial detention before a jury acquitted him of manslaughter in 2016.
Now 51, he says he has never fully turned the page. Two civil actions are still before the Supreme Court: one against the state and the police claiming Rs 1.3 billion, a second against the companies behind the Anahita project for Rs 136 million. He frames it as a matter of principle, not money.
