Fugitive held in Blue Bay villa as raid turns up police uniforms
Vincenzo Teranova Gai, known as Ticenzo, had been on the run for weeks under five arrest warrants when police raided a villa in Blue Bay on Saturday night. Officers seized more than 19 grams of synthetic drugs, cannabis, psychotropic pills and over Rs 7,000 in cash he said came from dealing.
The trail led to an alleged accomplice in Mahébourg, where investigators found official Mauritius Police Force and Coast Guard uniforms. Both men are in custody, now police want to know where those uniforms came from and whether they were worn on other jobs.
Five warrants is one thing; a stash of police uniforms is the detail that will keep investigators up.
Half-staffed NLTA leaves taxi permits stuck in a queue

Google Pay arrives in Mauritius through Visa and Absa
