Police say a public sewage plant hid and weighed cannabis
Three men are in custody after the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit searched a wastewater treatment plant at Balisson, Rose-Belle, on 18 September. Investigators say the gang used the site to store, weigh and package cannabis, with a phone found on the scene holding photos and videos of earlier operations.
The alleged central figure is Jérémie Patrice Siave, 33, a supervisor at the treatment company itself. One suspect told police he had bought cannabis from Siave for Rs 2,500 a time, and detectives are now tracing who else was on his list.

Courts from the United States to India have sanctioned lawyers who filed citations invented by AI that turned out not to exist. For a bar this fresh, the lesson is that a chatbot is a starting point, never the authority you cite to a judge.
