Court jails four and clears seven over October's curfew breaches
Four people will serve four months, seven walk away cleared, and one pays a Rs 5,000 fine. That is how the Intermediate Court closed twelve cases of breaking the curfew imposed during October's unrest.

Police stopped the accused across Port Louis, Bambous, Tamarin, Rose-Hill and Pointe-aux-Sables, some on their way to a partner or a sick relative. These are the first sentences to put a number on who paid for being out after dark.
